NYC Waterfalls

The New York City Waterfalls
By Olafur Eliasson

Starting today June 26, 2008 through October 13, 2008
From 7am-10pm daily except Tuesdays and Thursdays 9am – 10pm

According to
NYC.gov
there are two locations where you can see all four: Pier 1 in Brooklyn, the
future site of Brooklyn Bridge Park, has been specially-opened for the
Waterfalls; and Piers 16 and 17 at the South Street Seaport (on the corner of
Fulton and South Streets in Manhattan)

From Pier 16, you can catch one of the Circle Line Downtown boat tours
A limited amount of free tickets for each sail for the OFFICIAL 30 minute Water Tour are available by calling 866.9CLINE1 (1.866.925.4631). Limit one order per household, call as soon as possible – the tours will fill up quickly.

Free tickets for the first three weeks of the
exhibit have been reserved. If you are unable to reach an operator, please
email them at:
info@circlelinedowntown.com with your first three requested
dates after July 16th with sail times.

(Calling that number is like trying to
win tickets from a radio station, so good luck)

The City website also has other helpful resources related to the Waterfalls, including a map of great viewing sites and a guide for cyclists who wish to “Bike the Falls.”
