Chile FlagThis past weekend, Saturday, February 27, 2010 Chile was struck hard by a strong powerful 8.8 magnitude earthquake. Much stronger and powerful than Haiti’s earthquake, but Chile was a bit more prepared than Haiti. Haiti’s earthquake might have been 7.0 in magnitude but the impact was much stronger, leaving over 200,000 people dead. VERY SCARY, but people from around the world reacted and helped in whatever way we could.

Chile’s death toll is up in the 700 hundreds. Let’s help reconstruct Chile! See video below to find ways to help.

i have several relatives who were also vicitimized by the earthquake in Haiti. thank God that they were not seriously hurt. i hope and pray that Haiti would be able to recover soon from this disaster.

I’m sorry to hear that, and I hope so too.
