Biutiful is a love story between a father and his children. Uxbal (Javier Bardem) is a parent who feels lost in the middle of Barcelona, emotionally unbalanced and attempting to overcome a painful breakup all while trying to look after his children, but the task is complicated when he feels that death hovers near. He must protect his own, but also save himself. A simple, but complex story that revolves around the life of a man who feels that life is too much for him and must fight to overcome his own past.
Biutiful will hit select theaters on January 28, 2011.
