Summer is right around the corner and that means these are our last months/weeks/days to get beach body ready.
You all know how I feel about diet and fitness, I want results, I want it fast, and I want to still eat what I want. Hmm… I learned that I might be able to get one or two of those things or get all three by practicing discipline, self control and lots of motivation.
My beach body secret weapon this year is Nike Training Club! Not sure how I discovered this piece of gem, but I’m so glad I did. As a person that loves social media and apps which reward me for doing something good even if it’s just with a praise or a virtual badge, I am motivated by these rewards.
The Nike Training Club app is amazing for everyone, Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced. It allows you to choose your level of fitness, follow by your goal, do you want to Get Lean, Get Toned, Get Strong or Get Focused. Each goal contains several exercises either 30 or 45mins long that you can choose from. The Get Focused goal contains focused 15 mins exercises for a specific body part or target, i.e.: abs, glutes, arms, back, legs. It is amazing what you can achieve in 15 mins.
With each workout that you do you accumulate time, and with a certain amount of workout time you unlock badges and rewards that keep you motivated. Some rewards include exclusive fitness tips from professional trainers, smoothies recipes, as well as exclusive workouts by celebrity trainers.
