Shop, Sip and De-Stress – 4th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Event

shop sip and de-stress

This past Friday, October 25th, 2013 I had the pleasure of attending an awesome charity event that I never miss. Now on its 4th year, Kerry Yanique’s Shop Sip and De-Stress for Breast Cancer awareness was better than ever.

The event was held at The Brass Monkey in The Copper Room a nice bar/pub in the Meatpacking District area. Attendees had the pleasure to shop for clothing, accessories, & beauty products as well as get pampered with fabulous massages and manicures.

You can tell attendees were really looking forward to getting pampered when there were lines for massages and manicures. I loved my manicure, the young lady, Angel Williams https://www.angelwilliamsmanicurist.com/), that did it seemed very experienced and took her time. Loved the colors and the CND Vinylux line that she used. She also had nail polish strips for those that did not want to wait for the nail polish to dry. What’s funny was that it literally took maybe 5 minutes or less to dry. Not a smudge or chip. I’m currently on day 3 and my nails still look good. So I’m loving this polish for its quick dry and long wear.

Butterflymush

On the main floor there was live painting by Butterflymush Art, this girl’s art was incredible, I was truly amazed. There was also delicious treats from The Cupcake Bartender and Beyond Dreamz my favorite were the chocolate dipped Oreos. Yum!

Later in the evening there was a raffle giveaways & a silent auction where we had the chance to win an original Rene Mantilla hat, a painting by Butterflymush Art, a pair of custom Authentic by John Ashford shoes and a Wines for Humanity gift certificate.
