You ever workout and feel tired and sore the next day or right after and then feel like you shouldn’t workout again.
What you put in your body after a vigorous workout it’s very important. Most of us that workout know that protein helps preserve muscle and helps keep you fuller longer.
Using natural products is crucial. When selecting a post workout shake/drink I make sure to get one that has ingredients that I can read/pronounce and that it’s good for me.
A week ago, I took the liberty to compare a protein powder product I once used and compared it to this all natural Vega Sport Performance Protein. Please note the long list of hard to pronounce ingredients on the left hand and the simple ingredients listed for Vega Sport.
Ever since then I decided to give Vega Sport a chance. I wanted my body to have the most natural product available.
In the next few months I’ll start training for a couple of short runs (5ks and 10ks), two half marathons (13.1 miles), and a full marathon (26.2 miles). My training will require a lot of running and strength training and my body will need the muscle recovery.
Vega Sport Performance Protein has been amazing in helping my body recover faster, so I can get up and do it again the following day. Their Performance Protein, is “a complete multi-source, alkaline-forming, plant-based protein powder blend, featuring 5,000mg of BCAAs and 5,000mg of glutamine per serving, Vega Sport Performance Protein is formulated to:”
- Improve strength and exercise performance
- Repair and build muscles
- Reduce recovery time between training
Why would you put anything else in your body?
The Performance Protein comes in three flavors: Vanilla, Chocolate and Berry. I love the Vanilla flavor because I like to mix it with fruits and make a delicious power smoothie in the morning. Fuel Your Better.
