Biutiful is a love story between a father and his children. Uxbal (Javier Bardem) is a parent who feels lost in the middle of Barcelona, emotionally unbalanced and attempting to overcome a painful breakup all while trying to look after his children, but the task is complicated when he feels that death hovers near.
