You’ve created a brand for yourself now how do you market it?! Whether you’re a blogger or a small business person having a brand is very important. What’s more important is marketing your brand. Marketing helps people find you, know who you are and creates conversation and curiosity.
Every year my New Year’s Resolutions change depending on what is going on in my life, whether is relationships, family, healthier body or a better job, I think I’ve set every most popular New Year’s Resolutions out there. I have come to the realization that most of the resolutions on my previous lists rarely make it past the first 3 months.
This year you should ask yourself this very important question: Are You an Asset or a Liability?
First let’s look at what each means…
According to Webster’s Dictionary, an Asset is a valuable possession or quality, and a Liability is something owed to another: debt; a handicap: disadvantage.
Dating can present a host of difficulties for those who still frequent the scene. Getting to know a new person, learning what makes them tick, and trying not to mess up a good thing by being too, well…YOU…can be a frustrating and disheartening experience. You’re going to meet a lot of Mr. or Mrs. Wrongs before you find THE ONE, and the dates you choose have the potential to make or break a prospective relationship. If you knew the person better, you could definitely come up with something to impress, at least you could if you had the cash on hand for a 5-star restaurant, roses, and a limo. Unfortunately, you may have found yourself a little lighter in the wallet since the onset of the recession (when will it end?!).
Going to college can be stressful, tiring and most of all, expensive. Most students are struggling to get by paying for groceries, rent, and tuition, surviving on the bare minimum. Although having a job while taking a full load of classes can be difficult, it can also be very rewarding and help minimize your debt. Finding the perfect job to meet your busy schedule may not be easy, but when you do find the right job, you won’t regret it.
People often say that technology is advancing at an exponential rate (as in, our generation will generate twice the tech as our parents, our kids will generate four times as much, and so on and so forth). And if you think about it, some of the technology available for cars today would have seemed like science fiction just ten or twenty years ago.
I almost forgot today was Wednesday! This week seems to be flying by, even though I feel it should be Friday already… 2 more days Arie… Anyways, what have you missed this week on the blogger world.

Thanksgiving is nearing in, and most of us are probably super busy trying to get some cooking done. I’m actually attempting to make some Roast Pork Shoulder (Pernil for my Latinos), this is a must-know-how-to-cook dish for us Latinos, if I can master this, then I’m good! At least for most holiday cooking, because EVERYONE loves Pernil (pulled pork, Roast Pork, etc…)

Bloggers from around the NYC area gathered at the SOHO Levi’s store for a special event to get measured and try on these new jeans. The jeans are strictly for women, sorry men, but us ladies have a harder time finding the perfect pair of jeans; myself included.

What is Blog Café 2.0?! You might ask…
Blog Café 2.0 is the second annual blog networking event, this is where blogger meets reader! Bloggers from NYC/NJ come out and network, exchange business cards, say hello to our readers and just have a good ol time.
After a long day, we ended the night at the AOL Blogger’s Night Out event at the Hudson Terrace. What a way to end the evening! This place is beautiful, from the couches, location, to the decor, it felt great to close Thursday night at the Hudson Terrace. AOL really hooked up for the bloggers, from Specialty blog drinks, to photo/video booths, to manicures, and Top Chef presentations, to AOL branded pillows on the leather couches, bloggers felt WELCOMED!
After the OpenSky event Kitty Bradshaw and I headed out to Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum, were we met with Eb The Celeb and Melissa from O So Chic.
