Blogging Tip# 1
So you want to start blogging?!
A month or two ago, a wonderful young lady contacted me via email and told me she wanted some insight on starting her own blog and wanted to know how to go about it. I was shocked, I am NO professional blogger, and I look up to the real professional Bloggers out there, like ProBlogger, The Huffington Post, Mashable, TechCrunch, LifeHacker, Gizmodo, Engadget, Joystiq, even TMZ to name a few; these people are amazing!! And someday I’ll be just as amazing as them, but as of right now I am just a young apprentice. :-)
I gave this young lady advice to the best of my ability, and this is what I said to her:
I’m a new blogger myself, so my advice can only be as good as my blog. :-) I do look for motivation from other Bloggers and find ways to make my blog my own and slightly different from the rest.
The thing about blogging is that you have to make it your own, feel it, be passionate about it. My passion is to just be creative, and express it in my blog, whether is through images or words, I like to express myself. My advice to you is to find a way to express yourself. Think about what do you know so much about that you don’t mind doing it or writing about it all the time?! Once you find that “thing” you’ll find it easier to start blogging, find a blog site “Blogger.com or WordPress.com” (I use Blogger) and find a cool template that suits you and take it from there.
Also if you are thinking about doing interviews and music blogging, you should network and eventually find interesting people to interview.
I think she found this information useful, because later in the month, she started blogging, and her blog is GREAT! Oh, she doesn’t know this yet, but I will do an interview on her later this year, not because she’s a blogger but because she’s an artist and have other great talents as well.

Tap Tap Tap…. hellllooooooooooo! IS THIS THING ON… Goodness I'm wierd. In any case, I want to share my 2 cents as well. And that is – DO NOT LOSE YOUR OWN VOICE. In a time when every niche is taken, you have to be unique. This is the time to embrace your own uniqueness and be different.Okay I am done now. Diener—- OUT!
very good advice and thank you for sharing!
