Shop on the Internet – Pros: NO crowds, NO lines, NO need to change out of your pajamas. Most Black Friday internet sales start at Midnight on the night before Black Friday.
If you go out…
Get out there EARLY – Dress comfy and warm enough, who knows how long you’ll be out there. Comfy shoes and portable drinks and snacks.
Browse the ads before you go shopping – A list is a must! This way you’ll feel more in control and focused.
Not everything is a deal. Shop Smart. Don’t buy a random 40′ inch TV because it’s only 299.99. Quality is better than Quantity. If you are willing to buy this TV knowing it will only live til probably next Thanksgiving, then go ahead, but don’t shop without doing your research. CNET is a great website if you are looking to compare TV and other electronics and get great user reviews.
Some places you can check Black Friday ads are Black-Friday.net, Black Friday Ads.net

Oooo…Arie. This one hurts. I'm a retailer. (I'm not great with Black Friday though. The spirit of it isn't getting the "right" thing for the people you love…but getting cheap stuff.)
Aww I'm sorry Andy. I think shopping is great, but it seems once Black Friday is here people are out there buying y and everything. I am a technology/gadget freak, but I've learned to shop smart, buy good quality stuff instead of cheap Black Friday junk. :-) Shop smart!
