Twice every year, Spa Week announces $50 dollar treatments at participating spas throughout the US. Spa Week also hosts an exclusive-list media-only event, where bloggers, journalists, and other press/media people get quickly pampered for one night prior to Spa Week. This Spring’s SpaWeek event was absolutely amazing, this was my first time attending and hopefully not my last.
Perfectly organized and located at the Prince George Ballroom in Chelsea, the room was completely filled with spa loving journalists ready to be pampered.
As soon as I entered I made sure to sign up for some of the services being provided during the event. I placed my name on the chair back massages list as well as the manicure station. As I waited for my services and my time slot to come up, I made my way around the room.
I got a hand massage at ClariSea Sea salts station. My nose got in touch with some delicious almost taste-able scents at the Dole station, where we also learned about their new product, Dole Real Fruit Bites. CareFree was also in the house providing massages and more information on their new Acti-Fresh pantiliner (click to request a free sample).
At this time I made my way back to the manicure station and was given a wonderful 10 minute manicure, provided by Spa Martier. My color of choice was a subtle Lotus Rouge by Chanel.
Check out the Facebook Album for more event pictures.
After my sexy manicure I went straight to my chair back massage provided by Euphoria Spa. This was the best 10 minute chair massage I have ever got. Kristin Shaw did an amazing job. I’ve already booked a massage with her at Euphoria Spa.
The Spa Week event was a major success. Attendees did not leave empty handed we were given a gift bag at the end of the night full of full-sized sponsored products and other amazing goodies. There’s so much stuff in there I might do a giveaway to share the wealth. :-)
Anyways, did you book you SpaWeek treatment yet?!
What are you waiting for?!
