I’ve recently started reading this weight training book that I got through Need 2 Know Books. We all know, I love to try new workouts, here and there, and between going to the gym and working out at home, I like to read up on ways to stay healthy and improve my workouts. The Weight Training For Women – A Beginner’s Guide is a fantastic book for those of us that want to live a healthy, amazing lifestyle.
For this Fit Friday post I wanted to do a sort of a health/wellness/fitness/lifestyle giveaway that we can all benefit from. Need 2 Know Books is sponsoring this contest by giving 5 lucky winners the opportunity to win one of the following books of their choice:
I. Weight Loss – The Essential Guide
Weight Loss – The Essential Guide is the ultimate self-help guide to losing and maintaining weight effectively and healthily. Written by a practising nutritional therapist, this book offers practical tips on how to set and achieve weight loss goals, how to eat a healthy, nutritious diet, and support weight loss with an exercise programme.
II. Weight Training for Women – A Beginner’s Guide
Weight training is one of the most overlooked forms of exercise, especially for women. All too often, women choose to avoid weight training in favour of other forms of exercise, out of fear they will bulk up too much if they lift weights.
III. Weight Training for Men – A Beginner’s Guide
Weight training is an essential part of every exercise programme. It can help you to build a leaner stronger physique as well as supporting fat loss goals. Exactly how to achieve these results, in a safe and effective way however, can be a little more confusing.
IV. Food For Health – The Essential Guide
Food for Health – The Essential Guide is full of practical advice on how to acheive a healthy, nutritious diet without breaking the bank, including useful meal plans for a range of health conditions. If you have an interest in taking a greater control of your health, this book will encourage you to become your own ‘food doctor’ by using food to lower cholesterol, alleviate arthritis, lower the risk of heart disease, improve memory, maintain bone and joint health, relieve digestive problems and boost your immune system.
V. Everyday Yoga – The Essential Guide
The author of Everyday Yoga, Sarah Dawson, is a Sivananda Yoga Teacher and has practiced Yoga for may years. The book will be for people who have already done some Yoga as well as those who have done none at all, the book will show people that it is possible to bring Yoga poses and benefits into your everyday life at any time, whether at home, on the train, sitting in an office, or even lying in bed!
