Please note: the times indicated on the guidebook are on Austin, TX time. (They are 1 hour behind if you are following from NYC.)
Some time today many of you will be making your way to Austin, TX for South by Southwest 2012.
Some of you are attending for the very first time, some of you are returning for a second time, and then there are the truly faithful supporters that attend SXSW every single year.
By now you’ve probably read every SXSW post I have on my site, and the tips I gathered from last year’s interactive sessions. This year I really wanted to attend SXSW, but up until January 2012, I decided that I was going to sit this one out. I loved the SXSW Interactive sessions so much last year, that I decided to work on this project that I’m sharing with you all.
I figured there had to be a way for me to feel like I’m at SXSW but not really and receive some useful information/tips from some of the interactive sessions I wanted to attend. Apparently there is! That’s why I created this comprehensive guidebook to all, if not most SXSW Interactive sessions of 2012 and their Twitter hashtags.
Think about it, hashtags are the real live version of note taking, and the majority of people that attend conferences and seminars, do not take notes, they Tweet! So, I’ll be tracking some hashtags using Tweetchat or Tweetgrid.
Please Note: This guidebook is mainly designed for people not attending SXSW. It includes the session, date/time, as well as the session’s hashtag. The guidebook can be used by SXSW attendees to easily locate the session’s hashtags as well as follow other sessions they could not attend, due to scheduling conflict, by following those sessions’ hashtags.
If you find this guidebook to be useful, please feel free to share it with others. Also, please let me know your thoughts either via email (info@kmpblog.com) or in the comments section below.

Tried to comment last Friday, but something got stuck in a loop. This is great! Thanks for compiling and sharing the list.
You are very welcome! I hope it became useful to you. It was a fun project to do. :-)
