You should get the Blu-Ray player. I think the movies look better and clearer. I didn't see Terminator Salvation either, it is on my queue, doubt I'll get it on time, since the wait for it will probably be long.
I've really got to get myself a Blu-Ray player! Not seen the recent Terminator yet, but I'm a fan of the other films and the short series, so I dare say I'll like it as well ;)
