Yesterday, after waiting for the M14 bus going towards the Lower East Side I realized it wasn’t coming so I decided to walk down to 2nd avenue. Once I got towards Union Square Park, I realized why the bus wasn’t coming down this way, there was a HUGE rally against Arizona’s immigration law. It was heartwarming. Thousands of Latinos were united Marching down 4th Avenue, waving their flags and chanting in Spanish.

This past weekend while looking for roller skates at Sports Authority I stumble upon this place called Five Guys Burgers and Fries joint. As I walked inside all I saw was magazine reviews and articles hanging on the walls, with delicious looking burgers. I waited on line, which was somewhat long. I looked at the menu to see what else was on there besides burgers and fries, hot dogs was the other option.
Let’s face it, it’s doesn’t take much to lose sight of our goals and priorities. Distractions come in all shapes, sizes, shoe colors and people. But what if we took one step forward and made life a little easier? Starting with the most important and strongest weapon, our thoughts.
The new KFC Double Down is ridiculous! Who thought about this?! Maybe this will benefit those on the NEW Atkins Diet. Anyways, the sandwich features two boneless white meat chicken filets (Original Recipe® or Grilled), two pieces of bacon, two melted slices of Monterey Jack and pepper jack cheese and Colonel’s Sauce. I can’t lie, it actually looks good. LOL.

We all love Alvin and the Chipmunks! I remember watching this when I was younger and trying to talk like them, I thought it was cool. I really enjoyed the first movie and I enjoyed The Squeakel as well. Well, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakel is out on DVD, Blu-ray and Digital Download right now, so if you grew up watching the show, if you enjoyed the first movie, you will definitively enjoy this movie. If you have children, they will be in agreement about wanting this DVD in their homes.

In Werner Herzog’s new film Bad Lieutenant: Port Of Call New Orleans, Nicolas Cage plays a rogue detective who is as devoted to his job as he is to scoring drugs while playing fast and loose with the law.
Union Square was a feathery mess today, but a fun mess indeed. If you made it out there around 3pm today, you would’ve noticed a couple of people walking around with pillows and/or feathers in their heads.
The iPad Review!
This apparatus is just one big toy, one huge iTouch. I personally would not pay the insane amount of money this thing is worth. I would expect more for the money. Anyways, while strolling through 5th Avenue and seeing the crowd outside the Apple store I decided why not just go in the store and see what’s really special about the iPad. I’ve asked my Babycakes to review the iPad, so here you go:

Yesterday morning I was on my way to work, earlier than usual. As I get on the train and the doors closed I realized why there were only 5 people in the train car, there was a really stinky bum on the train, and the AC seemed to be off. The smell was so bad no matter which end of the train car you were, you still smelled it and it was potent, made your eyes tear.
