On Tuesday, August 17th, 2010, MediaBistro hosted it’s second Book Club party of the year, featuring some amazing authors showcasing their new books. A few lucky guests that arrived early were giving the chance to take a free books home. I was amongst those lucky few….
Not so long ago, I attended a MediaBistro Book Club, and I am glad I did. I got to hear about some really great books in shelves today. Amongst these great books was a fabulous book that I carry with me very often and use it for reference and guidance, The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Social Media Marketing, by Jennifer Abernethy.
Today I got the chance to attend the coolest book club party ever, hosted by MediaBistro.com. This was my first MediaBistro event, and I am so glad I attended. The staff was super friendly, thanks to Stephanie Mack, MediaBistro’s Event Manager for helping me register for the event, because I was really having technical difficulties that day. Thank you Stephanie for being so patient with me and it was a pleasure to meet you. I also got the chance to meet Jason Boog, Publishing Editor at MediaBistro.com, he’s exactly how he describes himself on his blog, very friendly and welcoming.
I was given the great opportunity to review this book (Mind Right, Money Right: 10 Laws of Financial Freedom), and what a great read it was. From beginning to end, I was amazed at how much I learned from this book; from the great financial advice to the success stories of some of the wealthiest people on earth, I was intrigued and inspired to be all that I can be.
With cost of living going up like crazy, I think we can all use some ways to save more and more of the “little” money we have:
Milk – almost or just about $4.00
A damn banana – $.35 – $.40 cents for ONE
Rent – over $1000 bucks for a tiny studio.

A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle is the new book selected by Oprah for her Book Club. The book might seemed a little slow at first but keep reading I’m sure you’ll find it very rewarding.
