What is TRX Suspension Training?
What is Suspension Training®? Not everyone knows what Suspension Training® exercise equipment is, but it might be helpful to begin with what it absolutely is not. Suspension Training exercise equipment is not a big expensive weight-training machine. It’s not a glorified rubber band. It’s not a fitness fad. And you will not see any TRX® […]

A year ago I was introduced to these strange looking shoes, Vibram FiverFinger Shoes. I first saw them on this Canadian couple that happened to be vacationing in the Dominican Republic at the same time as I; they wore their Vibrams to a waterfall tour we did together. The No Excuses Jogging Stroller
image source: The Licensing Company This year has been a baby booming year, I think I’ve attended more baby showers this year than any other year. As a matter of fact, I just attended a baby shower today. Baby showers are fun because the mom-to-be gets showered with tons of baby stuff, baby clothes, towels, […]
This year I have changed my eating habits a bit especially when it comes to my favorite meal of the day, breakfast. Article first published as The Only Yoga App You’ll Ever Need on Blogcritics. I always thought I never had […]
Mi Bra – Sports Bra plus More
Twice every year, Spa Week announces $50 dollar treatments at participating spas throughout the US. Spa Week also hosts an exclusive-list media-only event, where bloggers, journalists, and other press/media people get quickly pampered for one night prior to Spa Week. This Spring’s SpaWeek event was absolutely amazing, this was my first time attending and hopefully […]
If you pay any attention to mainstream media, it should come as no surprise that water is good for your health. For years, doctors and dieticians have been spouting the ubiquitous “8 glasses a day” missive (despite the fact that almost nobody follows it). However, if you’re looking to lose those few extra pounds you […]
5 Ways to Motivate a Great Workout
At this time of year, there’s probably nothing you want to do less than work out. As the cold weather sets in and the stress of the holiday season takes over, you are probably more motivated to climb under the covers and fall into a food coma for the next couple of months like a hibernating bear than to throw on your gym clothes and hit the treadmill. But this is exactly the season when you should try to stick to an exercise routine.
The fact that most people have weight loss at the top of their list of New Year’s resolutions is not too surprising considering how much food we wolf down between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day. With feasts galore, family gatherings full of snacking, parties packed with plates of hors d’oeuvres and high-calorie cocktails, and a slew of treats that you need a shovel to wade through, it can be pretty easy to gain a few pounds.
