You might remember Wes Craven from movies like The Hills have eyes, Nightmare on Elm Street, the Scream series. This psychological thriller kind of reminds me of the movie Identity. But then again every psychological thriller reminds of Identity.
I can’t remember the last time I saw a Harry Potter movie, I think it was after they grew up. I enjoyed all the Harry Potter movies when the kids were young, innocent, playing with magic, fighting evil, grown people that wanted to take their fun away.

This weekend premiered the first film of the Night Chronicles Series, Devil. As a scary movie fanatic, I support scary movies that I find to be worth my time and money. When I saw the preview/trailer for Devil, I found it to be interesting, not corny like the rest of the scary movies that came out lately, and the best thing was, that it wasn’t in 3D. It seems like every slasher/thriller, kids or action movies that come out are in 3D.
Cast aside all notions of men in tights: Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood is decidedly earthier and more grown-up than most romps through Sherwood Forest. The presence of the over-40 Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett cinches the deal, lending a dose of worldliness to a project that means to be about the origins of the famous character, who in this incarnation was evidently a late bloomer.

The end of Summer is near, and this is the time of the year where we stop going to the gym, working out, and back to eating like crazy, because the Fall/Winter clothes will keep that weight nicely hidden.
