This past weekend, Saturday, February 27, 2010 Chile was struck hard by a strong powerful 8.8 magnitude earthquake. Much stronger and powerful than Haiti’s earthquake, but Chile was a bit more prepared than Haiti. Haiti’s earthquake might’ve been 7.0 in magnitude but the impact was much stronger, leaving over 200,000 people dead.
