I work right across the street from Battery Park City. My building is position in an area where we can see the Hudson River from the top floors.
Around 3pm everyone was soo involved with looking out the windows than actually working. Unfortunately nobody saw the plane landing on the Hudson river, we all caught right after it was already in the water, and when the coast guard, and ferries were heading that way to help.
I find this amazing, scary, and thankful that everyone made it out alive, but it is just weird how something is always happening in NYC, wth, and it is always in Manhattan Downtown Area, like WTH! Anyways, here are some pics from the landing:
