This Summer my goal is to stay strong and healthy mainly as I continue training for my Fall marathon, (Chicago Marathon), this year.
Bob’s Red Mill has always been one of my favorite and trusted brand when it comes to healthy food products. So when I was recently asked to try out Bob’s Red Mill newest product, their Protein Powders, I did not hesitate to say yes.
Protein is a major key when it comes to fueling after a workout. Bob’s Red Mill Protein powders are made of 20g plant-based protein per serving, 12 delicious grams of fiber, probiotics, omega 3 fatty acids, 40% of iron per serving, they are also gluten free, vegan, and soy and dairy free. They also come in really great flavors: Chocolate Protein, Protein & Fiber, Vanilla Protein and Chai Protein to name a few.
One of my favorite recipes is the Magic Mint, made with Bob’s Red Mill Chocolate Protein Powder. I make it right before my workout so I can enjoy right after it. It’s absolutely delicious and easy to make.
- 1/3 cup Bob’s Red Mill Chocolate Protein Powder
- 1 cup of Milk
- 1 cup of Spinach
- 2 tbsp of fresh mint
- 1/2 cup of ice cubes
Lately, with my busy marathon training schedule and strength training schedule, I rarely have time to get all the necessary supplements and nutrition that my body needs to stay strong. Bob’s Red Mill Nutritional Boosters is helping me achieve all that plus more, it is helping me be Summer Strong.
