Spa Week Media Event – Spring 2012

As always, Spa Week Media events are always welcomed. This is the event where the media gets together and enjoy a complimentary night of pampering services, provided by a few select spas.

Everyone knows to arrive early if you want to enjoy a quick spa treatment; spots fill up fast but they are all worth the wait.

Red Door Spas Smooth Sculpt

For this media event I knew I had to get a Red Door Spas treatment, they are well known for their fabulous spa services, that it was a given I had to be there. Red Door Spas was offering a hand massage and a SmoothSculpt by Satin Smooth hand treatment, which uses a method that mildly suctions, pulses, and homeopathic extracts to cleanse cellular debris, reduce puffiness, as well as fortify the immune system, in different parts of your body where this tool is applied.

Spa Chicks on the Go
My next spa treatment stop was at the Spa Chicks on the Go booth. Spa Chicks are very popular, they provide an array of spa services for special events. Spa Chicks on the Go provided two services during this Spa Week media event, eye brow shaping and hand massages at the Emily Giffin book signing booth. I had the pleasure of getting treated twice and I must say I love their service.

Tyku Sake

After some pampering and brow shaping, I made myself around the floor and got some really tasty food catered by Incognito Continental Bistro and an amazing Sake drink provided by TY KU Sake.  Their TY KU Sake Silver, Sierra Mist and Cucumber drink was really refreshing and flavorful.

Spa Week Gift Bag

No Spa Week Media Event is complete without the famous Spa Week Gift Bag. A medium size Spa Week tote loaded with spa items by some amazing sponsors. In this season’s Spa Week Gift bag we were given the following items just to name a few: A copy of Emily Giffin’s new book Where We Belong, Vita Coco Coconut Water, Emergen-C drink mix packets, Built Water Bottle Tote, Takeya Glass Water Bottle, Envirosax eco-friendly bag, Bare Necessities’ Commando Tulip Thong, plus many, many more items.

Now that I have shared my pampering experience, I want you all to get pampered as well. Next week, April 16-22, is Spa Week, if you haven’t booked your $50 dollar treatment(s) yet, I suggest you go ahead and do it now.

Now go ahead and get pampered and come back and tell me all about it. :-)
