Thursday morning I attended an amazing BlogHer session where other blog enthusiasts and myself learned about book proposals. A popular question that went around the room was… “If you were to write a book, what would it be about?” Stefanie Wilder-Taylor of stefaniewildertaylor.com and author of Sippy Cups Are Not for Chardonnay: And Other Things […]

I first met these ladies via Twitter. Twitter relationships happen so fast, I can’t even tell you which tweet, RT or follower introduced me to the O So Chic ladies all I know is that I followed them on Twitter, been following them and their blog (osochic.com), since a little over a year and we’ve […]
5 Great Ways to Market Your Brand
Every year my New Year’s Resolutions change depending on what is going on in my life, whether is relationships, family, healthier body or a better job, I think I’ve set every most popular New Year’s Resolutions out there. I have come to the realization that most of the resolutions on my previous lists rarely make it past the first 3 months.
Dating can present a host of difficulties for those who still frequent the scene. Getting to know a new person, learning what makes them tick, and trying not to mess up a good thing by being too, well…YOU…can be a frustrating and disheartening experience. You’re going to meet a lot of Mr. or Mrs. Wrongs before you find THE ONE, and the dates you choose have the potential to make or break a prospective relationship. If you knew the person better, you could definitely come up with something to impress, at least you could if you had the cash on hand for a 5-star restaurant, roses, and a limo. Unfortunately, you may have found yourself a little lighter in the wallet since the onset of the recession (when will it end?!).
5 College Jobs That Don’t Suck
Going to college can be stressful, tiring and most of all, expensive. Most students are struggling to get by paying for groceries, rent, and tuition, surviving on the bare minimum. And if you think about it, some of the technology available for cars today would have seemed like science fiction just ten or twenty years ago.

These accommodations have all been restored to offer you a stay with modern comforts.
Midweek Recap – 11/24/10
Thanksgiving is nearing in, and most of us are probably super busy trying to get some cooking done. I’m actually attempting to make some Roast Pork Shoulder (Pernil for my Latinos), this is a must-know-how-to-cook dish for us Latinos, if I can master this, then I’m good! At least for most holiday cooking, because EVERYONE loves Pernil (pulled pork, Roast Pork, etc…)

Beauty (Blog) Event in NYC 9/23/10
If you have no idea what I’m talking about you soon will! These are all names for the new Levi’s Curve ID jeans to hit the Levi’s stores this Summer/Fall 2010. Bloggers from around the NYC area gathered at the SOHO Levi’s store for a special event to get measured and try on these new jeans. The jeans are strictly for women, sorry men, but us ladies have a harder time finding the perfect pair of jeans; myself included.
After a long day, we ended the night at the AOL Blogger’s Night Out event at the Hudson Terrace. What a way to end the evening! AOL really hooked up for the bloggers, from Specialty blog drinks, to photo/video booths, to manicures, and Top Chef presentations, to AOL branded pillows on the leather couches, bloggers felt WELCOMED!
