The fact that most people have weight loss at the top of their list of New Year’s resolutions is not too surprising considering how much food we wolf down between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day. With feasts galore, family gatherings full of snacking, parties packed with plates of hors d’oeuvres and high-calorie cocktails, and a slew of treats that you need a shovel to wade through, it can be pretty easy to gain a few pounds.
A few years ago I posted this post: 20 Minutes to a Great Bod, at that time I was really into fitness and keeping my body weight constant. I slacked off for about a year and then got back to it again this year and I couldn’t be any happier. I am not a runner/jogger, I find it boring, annoying and pointless to run on a treadmill straight for 30-60 minutes.
